Payment Policy
We accept payments through Paypal, money orders and personal or bank checks. Payment is due at the time of purchase. Through Paypal, all major credit cards are accepted through their on line server. This site is a secure site and your privacy is protected by Paypals’s SSL technology. You can also use your credit card directly without a Paypal account. Items paid for by check will be shipped after the check has cleared. The check must be received within 7 days of purchase. Approximately 14 days will be needed for the check to clear.
Shipping Policies
Lamp Creations will be shipping items via USPS Mail for items that meet size requirements. All of our products should meet these requirements. If we have any products not meeting these requirements, they will be duly noted and will be shipped through FED EX or UPS. For the time being we will be shipping only in the continental United States. There will be a standard packing and handling fee of $8.00 added to your order. You will calculate all shipping expenses on our site. USPS insurance for the amount of your purchace will be included in the shipping charges. I will notify you when your package has shipped and include the tracking number.
We will ship via USPS Mail twice a week. Please allow up to three weeks for delivery. We do not ship on weekends and holidays.
Custom order time tables will be established at the time the order is placed via email correspondence. I will notify you when the package has been shipped and the tracking number via email.
Kansas sales tax will be added to all purchases delivered to a Kansas address (7.525%) along with applicable shipping and handling.
Damage and Refunds
Having moved 12 times in almost 40 years of marriage, I know how to pack breakables! Having said that, theUSPS insures your package for $100.00. Should you want additional insurance, there is an additional charge. Once the lamp leaves my door, you must file a claim with the USPS for damages incurred in shipping. Do not accept a package if it is dented, opened, punctured, or looks as if damage may have occurred. Take it to the post office and open in front of a postal employee. You will negotiate with them for a financial refund. My lamps are one of a kind and are often difficult to replicate because of the items that I use. Any questions about a refund should be asked via email, after you have finished your negotiation with the USPS. I guess I’m trying to say, all sales are final, however, I will be open to listen to your complaint and reconsider if needed. I will also try to assist you in negotiations with the USPS.
Lamp Creation items often are made from vintage or “slightly used” items. They are usually not 100% perfect. There may be a ding, dent, or chipped piece. These are part of the character of the piece. I try to note these for you on the descriptions. There fore, in all situations there is not refund. An in store credit may be considered on an individual basis. All sales are final. Should a piece come unglued, or a light not work, (it is tested before shipment) we will try to trouble shoot the cause and find a solution with your help.

As a service to you, all lamps with harps have a florescent bulb enclosed. This is an energy saver. Others will have an energy saver standard bulb.
